Prizing
- 1st place: $300 (30K & 50K / male & female)
- 2nd place: $200 (30K & 50K / male & female)
- 3rd place: $100 (30K & 50K / male & female)
Self Seeding
Racers will seed themselves at the start line into groups based on their estimated/expected finishing time all to be done at race package pickup where racers will be colour-coding their bibs. Please have an idea of your predicted race time prior to arriving. We will have copies of past P’ayak race results at the package pick up to assist with estimates.
50K
- Red Group: expected/estimated finishing time less than 3 hours 30 minutes
- Green Group: expected/estimated finishing time more than 3 hours 30 minutes
30K
- Red Group: expected/estimated finishing time less than 2 hours
- Green Group: expected/estimated finishing time between 2 hours and 2 hours 15 minutes
- Blue Group: expected/estimated finishing time between 2 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes
- Orange Group: expected/estimated finishing time more than 2 hours 30 minutes
15K
- Red Group: expected/estimated finishing time less than 1 hour 15 minutes
- Green Group: expected/estimated finishing time more than 1 hour 15 minutes
** Please note only those with a bib will be allowed in the start area and to ski in the event.
Bib Pickup
Bibs can be picked up on Saturday, February 23rd, 8:00 – 9:30 am in the Race Office in the Technical Building, next to the Stadium area.
Food/Aid Stations/Awards
View the maps for each course to see the locations of the aid stations. Awards will take place after each of the events.
Whistler Olympic Park
The site will open at 7:30 am on the day of the event. Visit the WOP website for more info on the facility.

Kids Ski Cross
This is a day of special ski activities involving both classic and skate techniques (skate skis will be available if needed). It is designed to enable skiers to apply their cross-country skills to challenging terrain in an environment of adventure & team competition.
- Ages: 10-13
- Location: Biathlon Building
- Time: Check–in between 9:30 & 10:00 and ending with the awards at 2pm.
- Teams will participate in activities such as Team Sprints, Terrain Park Obstacle Relay, La Mans Skiathlon, Biathlon and a Monster Skis Race.
- Snacks, lunch and a T-shirt are included.

Kids Ski Tournament
This brings together children for a memorable and enjoyable day of cross-country ski competition and fun. Through team effort and participation kids with a wide range of skill levels and ski experience can enjoy the one-day extravaganza of competitions and special activities.

- Location: Day Lodge
- Time: Check–in between 9:30 & 10:00 and ending with the awards at 2pm.
- Activities will include the Mad Dash, Terrain Park Relay, 3-Legged Relay, Monster Skis Race, Opening and Closing Ceremonies … and more!
- Snacks, lunch and a T-shirt are included.
